Rune Fjellanger
Rune Fjellanger has a Cand. Scient degree in Behavioural Biology, (the equivalent of a Master in Behavioural Biology with an additional year of research). He did his field science project on dogs sense of smell.

His focus on developing methods for determining the threshold for dogs’ sense of smell has resulted in many assignments as a special consultant around the world.

Rune Fjellanger has worked with dog related subjects for over 25 years. Since 1988 he has developed and ran Fjellanger Dog Training Academy, a training centre for both dogs and its owners.

Fjellanger Dog Training Academy has a staff of 18 instructors. Fjellanger is a regular member of UN’s expert panel for mine dogs and has led several practical assignments involving detection dogs and other detection animals for UN. Rune continues to develop his methodology and field of expertise at the Service dog department of Fjellanger Dog Training Academy.

Espen Krüger Andersen
Espen Krüger Andersen works as a dog instructor and dog operator for specially trained search and rescue dogs. He has also participated in UN-projects involving mine detection dogs.

Espen is an instructor and consultant for all types of courses arranged by Fjellanger Dog Training Academy and has extensive experience as a speaker. 

He has also years of experience within tracking wounded game in the hunting season. In the last few years he has also acquired experience in training other species besides dogs.
